Welcome to Inkline! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Inkline application ("App") and website at getinkline.ai ("Website"), operated by Inkline ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Inkline is a note-taking and drawing application available on iOS and macOS. The App allows you to create, organize, and sync notes, drawings, and other content across your devices.
The App is currently free to use. If we introduce premium features or paid plans in the future, we will update these Terms and notify you in advance.
To use the App, you must create an account by signing in with Google OAuth. When you sign in, we collect your email address and basic profile information to create and manage your account.
Your account data is stored and managed through Supabase, which provides secure authentication and data storage. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You own your content. All notes, drawings, documents, and other materials you create within the App remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over any content you create.
By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.
You agree not to use the App to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the App, its users, or us. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases requiring immediate action.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@getinkline.ai. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. You use the App at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inkline and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Inkline operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
